My kids LOVE these toys. The hamsters are very cute and ours runs on the wheel and thru the tunnels just fine. It keeps them entertained! I’m ordering more for Christmas and getting them for my neices as well.

I looked on youtube and saw that the wheel was working for the families that were on there. It looked cute and real so I got one for my daughter. I set it up as the in rank told me to. The wheel by no means spun freely. The hamster will get in the wheel, get stuck, and back its way out of it. Perfect disappointment to me but most importantly a disappointment to my 4 year ancient. The car and garage has some issues too but still works to some extent. The wheel doesn’t not work at all for us. So if you hold this manufactured goods its sort of like before a live audience the lottery. If it works you’re one of the lucky ones. If it doesn’t, you’re stuck with a piece of crap.

These toys don’t work. They get stuck constantly, the fake tubes are cheap and break very easily. My child got very frustrated and bored quickly. Don’t dissipate your cash. If you must try this, wait until they are at Walmart or Target for $7.

We’ve got pretty much all of the accesories for the Zhu Zhu pets. The wheel really does not go freely very well but the hamster will go down the tunnel get on the wheel and run in place then back down the tunnel. At first I was very dissappointed that the wheel wasn’t really spiraling (it does go but spiraling is a stretch) but my 4 year ancient didn’t seem bothered by it. now I really kind of prefer this one because it’s one that really keeps the hamster contained in the funhouse. The slide lets the hamster out onto the stump as does the car and garage which is fine if you have a very large area for the total set but the hamster runs better in the fake pieces. As for durability the slide and garage are constantly coming detached (the 2 year ancient tends to knock them around) but this one has stayed emotionally involved pretty excellent, maybe because the tunnel is shorter than others. If you’re not traditional with these you should know the accessories are snap together pieces – the fake isn’t flimsy but the fact that they just ’snap’ together earnings they also snap apart rather easily. So while the accessories are constantly coming apart or detached they aren’t breaking (which is excellent) but my 4 year ancient can’t really snap them back together on his own so it’s more work for me.
